ABOUT THE STONE
Turritella Agate is a brown, semi-transparent fossiliferous chalcedony containing high-spired white or tan snail fossils. Despite the name, the fossils are not marine Turritella snails, but rather the extinct freshwater snail Elimia tenera from the 50-million-year-old Green River Formation in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Turritella Agate is highly prized in metaphysical practices for its deep connection to the earth and ancient wisdom. It’s considered a powerful grounding stone that aligns with the root chakra, providing emotional stability, protection, and a strong sense of inner-security.
