ABOUT THE STONE
Wildfire opal, also known as "bacon opal" or "bubble opal," is a rare, ~19,000-year-old hot spring deposit discovered around 2018–2019 at the Bubble Opal claim in Milford, Utah, USA. It is composed of silica and minerals, displaying vibrant, fiery red, orange, and yellow colors often in layered or bubble-like patterns, resembling "bacon" or, when displaying intense, multi-colored flashes, “wildfire”.
