This stunning Tabu Tabu/Forest Fire jasper stone is out of Africa. This consistently thick slab showcases its signature brecciated crimson and black tones:

2.65-2.89 (tapered) x 2.19-2.27tapered) x .26 inches, 74.4 grams/2.62 ounces

ABOUT THE STONE
Tabu Tabu Jasper (aka Forest Fire Jasper) is a rare, brecciated jasper occuring in the Painted Valley near Kenya. Vibrant crimson, red, and orange colors mixed with black or white make this one of the boldest statement stones of the brecciated jasper stone family.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES

At over four inches, this is a large and imposing sphere that is predominately red in color and heavily brecciated. Reminiscent of the red on a Seftonite stone, although the red on this sphere carries fully around the piece. This is the first time I have encountered Tabu Tabu and I find it to be both impressive and appealing. A beautiful stone with a unique and darkish cast. Quite a nice addition to my lot of spheres. I visit this shop regularly and often find very interesting, quality stones here. The communication with this seller is outstanding. Shipping is both prompt and secure. I've purchased a number of stones here and found the customer service and overall purchasing experience to be consistently excellent. Recommended. JC
