ABOUT THE STONE
Moroccan Agate (often called Moroccan Seam Agate) is a vibrant, highly collectible variety of Chalcedony mined primarily around the Atlas Mountains and regions like Sidi Rahal. Famous for striking hues of red, orange, pink, and yellow framed by iron-oxide banding, it forms inside ancient volcanic basalt as distinct nodules or linear seam veins.
METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Moroccan Agate is valued in crystal work for providing soft emotional steadiness, clear communication, and deep energetic grounding. Its banded layers—formed slowly in volcanic rock cavities—are believed to help calm scattered thoughts and balance opposing forces.
